THE WEDNESDAY EVENING POST FOR APRIL 2, 2014

Hey All!

Welcome back to another edition of my blog.  Hope this finds you all well, safe and happy.  This edition will be short on words and heavy on pics.  Why?  Because I am going to show you the Christmas cards I did this past year that were never posted.  That is right GAIL, Christmas cards.  I want to get these posted finally so that I can update my SCS gallery.  So here we go:

Was that fun for you Gail???  The last was a little box I made for holding mini pumpkin bread loaves I made for a few of the neighbors and my friends.  The boxes were so easy to make and made a great presentation.  If anyone wants the instructions, you can find them HERE.  In case you are wondering about the loaf recipe, it was from a box.  Libby made this great product (only available for the holidays) that came in a box and had the ingredients for two loaves (including the canned pumpkin).

As painful as that was (lol) it's done.  Now I can get these up on SCS and be done with Christmas cards for another several months!

Pic of the Week
Spring is springing!
Thanks for stopping by and having a look at my stuff.  I'll be back around to see you all soon!

Hugs,

Curt

Curt,
I have to say that the deer in the woods (the very first card) is my fave. I am a sucker for trees/bark/woodgrain and woodland creatures. You put way too much effort into your x-mas cards, I'm often too lazy for that, so I envy your patience. Speaking of holidays... I made a project for you, it's Halloween (because I know you love Halloween), but you must have missed my blog post that week. I called you out to email me your mailing address so that I could send it to you. You still can if you want to, lol. I really loved all of your cards, but #1 was my fave! Have a good week!

Well that was fun! I like to believe every day is Christmas; thanks for making it so!! Hard to pick a favorite, though you know I love the wreath. The deer in the snowglobe (at least that what I call it) is gorgeous, as are the red birds in the snowy white.
Gotta admit, I was expecting Easter cards, so this was a surprise!

Thanks for sharing! (Now I have a taste for pumpkin bread!)

Oh Curt, they are wonderful!! It wasn't painful at all, it was inspiring!!! AND as my husband walked through the room he said "I recognize that one!" (*huge smile*)
Yes, your cards are world renowned!

I love your photo of the sweet flowers popping out of the earth. Spring must be so beautiful in places where there are actually 4 seasons. I think I miss that.

Hugs!!

Funny, as I scrolled through this...oh this is my fave, now wait, this is my fave...oh wait I love this one too....hard to pick a fave out of all these great cards Curt! I am usually making a wood project and baking during the holidays, so if I don't make holiday cards during the rest of the year, they don't get made!!!

This is great Curt! I am hosting a Christmas card challenge all year at Your Paper Pantry. I challenge the group to make 5 Christmas cards a month so they are ready to go next December with about 50 to 60 hand made cards. It is really fun to see what everyone shares.
I love your cards. So many great ideas.
Wonderful spring picture. We do not have anything up yet but the snow is gone. Well it was snowing today but it didn't stick thank goodness. This is the longest winter every.
