It's nice to see you back and I have to say, you keep looking better every time I see you! Just gorgeous!
You are going to be a little confused with tonight's post because of the theme of the cards I'm showing you. I know I've been bitching about the cold, snowy weather and it's now Spring. . .however, you'll have to remember that I didn't post anything for over 3 months, and I have stuff to catch up on. Also, I don't want to post my Easter stuff yet, because I don't want the recipients seeing what they are getting. So grab a blanket and take a look:
I made a winter note card set for a neighbor friend from my old neighborhood. She is an older lady and loves to send out notes and cards. She is always grateful to receive what I make so it is always a pleasure to make them for her. This is my go to box design from Gina K's website. Here is the link to the instructions. The box above held these six cards with envelopes:
If there is anything that you would specifically like to know about any of them just ask and I'll respond with an answer.
I'm really excited to post my stuff for Easter. I've found some great 3-D projects that I've added my own touch to that I think you are going to like. And don't worry, the projects can be used any time, not just for Easter.
Thanks for stopping by. Sorry if this post made you feel chilly all over again. However, I know some of my Canadian friends are still snow covered at the moment.
Hope you are all well and in good spirits. I know as the temps rise here, my spirits follow. Soon it will be pool time!
Hugs,
Curt

BRRR! Still wearing my down coat and hat around up here, so this post didn't give me frostbite :). LOVE that warmest wishes with the hat -- pure darling genius! nise
Your opening statement made me laugh my head off! I hear you on the weather! OMGosh, Curt, she is going to love every single one of these!! The video is a great one for a quick box too. Wanted to make sure you knew there is a blog hop on Monday for a little 2 year old girl who is receiving chemo for Leukemia. We are hoping to inspire people to send cards to her and her family. The info is on the top of my blog posts. There will be several prizes on the main blog and many of us will have blog candy, including me! I hope you will join us for the fun and hope you win some 'stuff' too! Can't have too many stamps. Hugs,
A snowflake is winter's butterfly? That may be the dumbest stamp I've ever seen! ... and I've seen a lot!
I love Wednesdays, I look forward to a charming and inspirational post from a very handsome man with a beautiful smile and huge heart. A special note always delivered to my email. I don't care if the cards are of winter’s pallet, they are gorgeous all the same. Looking forward to seeing your Easter projects.
a beautiful gift of a super box and very pretty cards, hopefully it is getting warmer here in Manchester, the grass is certainly growing, been out to cut the lawns again today. We have lighter nights as well.

I laughed out loud at your first line as I sit here in my ratty robe
and haystack hair at 5 in the morning...lol....anywho, the cards are beautiful...you are such a nice neighbor, would you move next door.....lol....I don't mind seeing your winter cards at all, in fact we still have one (only one) big snow pile here. You have me intrigued with the box....my Mom will be 87 in May, this would be such a great gift for her!! Looking forward to seeing your Easter cards!! Have a great week!!
Those cards are adorable. Your neighbour is going to love them and if she is anything like me, she will love them sooo much that she won't want to use them.
I hear Shirley. Your opening statement put a huge smile on my face. You are a man with quite the sense of humour. Yes, your cards are indeed chilly, but we are still with cold temperatures so that's okay--this time--LOL. Great assortment of cards and gift box. You have me eagerly anticipating your Easter cards.
I feel your pain about the weather! We have had snow on the ground since Oct 31st and calling for possibly snow flurries tomorrow. I feel like I live in a snow globe~LOL Your cards are fantastic and inspiring!TFS
Ha, there's snow in the forcast for us! This morning and overnight!
SIGH!
Lovely cards, and box, I'm sure she loved them!
We still have snow, a ton of water, and I seen 2 swans on the way to work this morning!
Have a great week!
It's so nice to share our art with people who truly appreciate it, lovely card set she received!
OMG, I love them all. And, I love to see them when we are not all caught up in the "hussle & bussle" of the season. I can't make up my mind which one is my favorite, but the verse that is my favorite is that a snowflake is winter's butterfly. I love that first one with the circle and the last snow man, too cute!
Hugs,
Gina
And good morning to you ~ I was in my chair with a blanket already , and I love winter cards... that hat is adorable , is it a die? if so from who or where please??
you are so kind always sharing with people... not only here but in real life ...
now I am intrigued to see what your Easter projects will be ???
have a great day...
Beautiful cards Curt despite the subject. Winter is not my favorite time of the year right now. Ours way horrendous in SE PA.
Lovely and thoughtful gift. I'm certain your neighbor enjoyed receiving this gift just as much as you enjoyed making it.
I look forward to those Easter projects!
p.s. Don't hate me, but it's been in the 80s here for weeks.
Love them all and the box is a really nice touch - people nowdays just do the email, facebook communication - vs. sending a hand written note - I love getting cards and notes and I am happy to know there are still a lot of us out there that still do. Your neighbor will be super happy with these. Now if we get more "snow" shhhhh...I will balem it all on Curt.
LOL I was wondering why there was all winter cards. They really are lovely card.
We finally hit 60 for 3 days. First time since October. I look forward to your Easter projects.
Hugs,
Linda
She is going to love these Curt! They are wonderful!
Hi Curt! I love your winter cards and it cools me down a little by looking at them LOL!! I especially like the little beanie! How cute is that!
The nights are starting to cool a little now but the days are still warm! April and May are usually lovely months here! Such pleasant temperatures before the winter hits!
Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs!!
I think this Canadian gal is finally thawed out! We may have one ice chunk left that came out of the rain barrel when it blew over yesterday (along with the hockey net and the basket ball net). I like the snowflakes are winter's butterflies phrase, it's cute.
Beautiful card set for your neighbor. Since we had such a long winter I think we are still in a kind of winter mode. Wasn't it a wonderful day Thursday. I hope this is here to stay. Can't wait to see your Easter creations.
More fabulous frosty designs!!!
Very nice Curt!!!

I did wonder what was going on with your posts Curt. lol I can't remember whether I told you that I love you blog design. Sooo pretty with the flowers, paling fence and rabbit.
I like your gift box of cards, very appropriate for Christmas and winter.
Brrr, it's still a bit cold here in the West of Scotland, small signs of Spring but wishing it would hurry up and arrive.
Lovely set of snowy cards, looking forward to seeing your Easter makes,
Liz x
