Hey All!
Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I hope you find yourselves tomorrow surrounded by those you love. I'm having seven for dinner tomorrow with all the trimmings, turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, home made dressing, etc. And those of you who don't splurge or who have excessive will power, think about this. . .if the world is supposed to end on December 21st this year, then technically this is the last holiday forever! So splurge!!!! LOL (Hey, it is a great excuse huh?)
I have 6 more cards to share with you today. All Thanksgiving. The top two are my favorites:
This is the card I made for my Mom. It is made with a die cut from Memory Box. I cut the image from 3 different papers, added the ribbon, stamped the sentiment, and done.
I'm never comfortable mixing patterns, but I like these together. One fun thing I discovered when making this card. . .see the dots on the pumpkin image? That was strictly by accident! I stamped the image on the back of a "dotted" paper by Bazzill. The front has raised dots on it, but the back seemed smooth. When I started coloring with my colored pencils, the dots appeared. How fun!
This is the card I made for my sister. Another side step.
I saw this sketch where they used various pennants so I tried it out and ended up making 3 more cards. You can't see it in the photo, but the one with acorns has dark copper glitter on top of the acorns, and I went back after the photo of the one with the pumpkin and added glitter to the swirl patter on the pumpkin. The other, of course, is a House Mouse image that is actually a Halloween stamp, but worked well for this card.
Well, that's it for this edition. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and I want you to know that as I think about all of the things I am thankful for I certainly count you all on the top of that list.
Pic of the Week
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Curt! Praying that you and your loved ones have a most blessed day of thanks! I consider myself blessed to have "met" you online and to know our friendship will only strengthen... well, until December 21 if the Mayans have any say. ;) God bless!
Blessings, Curt! Happy Thanksgiving! Such a fine idea in your mother's card. Running the stems off into 'space' gives the mind's eye a chance to travel and go places only experienced in the joy of the receiver.
Smart use of Halloween mouse for a Thankful image! Multitasking provides a hit once again!
How lovely the copper glitter makes each highlight you enlighten! Ha! We are up for some glitz every happy card.
Your banner work is so fun. Making use of the paper treasure bank is such a creative harvest move when cardmaking, esp. Harvest / Thanksgiving cards.
Blessings be to you and yours this Thanksgiving season, all year 'round.
Keep Looking UP!
Hey, Curt! Those shadows on pumpkins have such stories to tell! I have imagined what was the item between the punkin and the sun! Those classically display a handsome part of your courtyard decor. Great captured in photo moment, Curt. Keep Looking UP!
Ccurt just love your cards..they are all so beautiful..I would hate to have to choose one. Wishing you and your family a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. We don't celebrate it here in SA, but we can still be thankful for so many Blessings. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
You have done some really fine cards.
I am so glad you think outside the box sometimes because then you come up with more gorgeous cards.
Your mom and sisters cards are lovely. I like how you did mix patterns.
Of course HM always makes me go aaah.
Cool use of pennants.
The shadows on your pumpkins intrigue me, especially the grassy one.

It sounds like you and Jay had an amazing feast and were surrounded by those people you love and cherish. How can one not be thankful.
Spent another wonderful day with my family and I didn't have to cook this year, how sweet was that. I swear the food always tastes so much better. I can't even think about eating today...I am still stuffed. Hopefully this won't be are last holiday but you never know.
I adore your cards and can't decide which one is my favorite but I love those "accidental" dots on your pumpkin. Don't you just love when something like that happens.
I'm thankful that you are back to blogging and my online friend.

My goodness! What a wonderful selection of cards, Curt. Love how you used the MB die on your Mom's card. And the mix of patterns on the second looks fabulous. The dots are such a happy accident. What a fun design on your sister's card! And I LOVE that sketch with the three pennants. Always love the HM images, too. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving at Curt's this year was one of the best I've ever had. Lots of good food and so much fun with my best friend and family!

I cooked for 9 too but 5 ate. Two showed up the next day. Some drama but not too much so all and all it went well. LOL Crazy me I cooked a 22 lb turkey and made two apple pies plus the extras. Oh then I have to take it to the in-laws house to serve it. So I don't get to decorate my table. They are 92 and 96 and don't leave their house. I think they are afraid we won't take them home. They should be in an apartment not their big old house but we can't talk them into it now. I am happy to do it and they appreciate it. (Sorry about all that)
I love your cards and the one with all the patterns is my favorite. I have a hard time doing that and when it works it is great.
Ok now on to Christmas.
Hugs,
Linda
What fabulous Thanksgiving cards, Curt! I definitely love the mix of patterns on your mom's card! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The Twins and Lexi enjoyed their time with Brady. If they could count, I am sure they would be counting down the days to Christmas break! Enjoy your week, and tell the Boys "hi" from the naughty Boxers!
Gorgeous as usual Curt, your cards. I also love the Memory Box die used on your mum`s card. Happy Thanks giving Hugs from Jersey U.K.

Hi Curt, What a great variety of Thanksgiving cards here! I know how much Thanksgiving time means to you. My favourite card would be the one with the cute little turkeys but also love the one you made for your Mum as I have that Memory Box die - it is a beauty!!
Hugs!
I think the top two are my favorites too!
Happy belated Thanksgiving! I'm sure your meal was enjoyed by all.
