IT'S HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Gruesome Greets All!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN to you all (yes Bonnie that means to you too!)  I hope you are all having a creepy good day in your neck of the haunted woods.  It is cold and grey here with the wind blowing the leaves around.  I didn't get many Halloween cards done this year since my "heart event" so no pics of cards.  However, I did decorate the house and front courtyard for the holiday, so I thought I would share those photos with you.  Take a look:

This is my courtyard as you come to the front door

These are the inside decorations:
HAUNTED BEDROOM MANTEL

Printed creepy photos off of the internet, framed them and set them around.

Spider web lace draped on lamps

Disgusting Dining Room (Plates say "Poison")

Jars I made - brains, tarantula, skeleton fingers

Bloody Hand Print on Glass at Front Door

Gunther Sleeping with Rat on Pumpkin (real pumpkin)

I Made This Miniature Graveyard Topiary

Real Pumpkin (Isn't it beautiful???)

Witch's Broom I made (painted handle black, added various ribbons and added weird markings on the handle with Stickles)
Something Creepy in the Fireplace!

Pumpkin "Throwing Up Dip"  LOL

Baked Werewolf Hand!

I got a lot of my ideas from Pinterest (the meatloaf hand, graveyard terrarium, bones in fireplace).  I am so hooked on Pinterest now.  Such a great idea for a website.  If you've not been there, go join - it's free and what a great place to go for ideas!

Picture of the Week:

Thanks for visiting.  And thanks too for the great comments you left on my last post.  I can't tell you how much they are appreciated.  I love reading what you have to say and thank you for the time you spend to do it.

Again, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!  Love you guys!

Best,

Curt O'Brien

OMG, I love the bones in the fireplace. I hope I remember this next Halloween. Great decorations, thanks for sharing!

OMG ... You Americans and your Halloween ... especially you Curt!

I know why you decorate outside .... It's to scare the kids so you don't have to give out treats! Now you have to take everything down and put up Christmas stuff. Well, at least that will keep you out of the bars and off the streets for a while.

Hope your health is improving so that you can prepare for my month-long vacation at your new home. Hugs to all.

Holy smokes, you really love Halloween. I liked so many things, but your goul peaking out in the garden was pretty cool, as was the skeleton in the fireplace. You are so creative outside of your studio. Rock on!

Your decorations are awesomely spooky! Love the creepy guys on the front porch, the bones in the fireplace are wonderful fun, and although it would be tough to make myself eat pumpkin 'throw up', that's one that I pinned myself, thinking it would be fun sometime! Looks like you had a great time! Can't wait to see your Christmas decor :) Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Haven't had a trick or treater in probably 20 years (we really DO live 'out of town'). We don't decorate anymore for Halloween :( Have a great weekend...
