Hey All!

Gosh I've missed each and everyone of you!  I wanted to give everyone a quick update as to what is happening.

Right now it is 1:47 AM on Wednesday morning as I write this.  I'm taking a break from loading all my boxed stuff on a rented truck.  My sister took the day off to help me tomorrow, so I wanted to make sure I got a head start.  It is pure adrenalin that is keeping me going right now!  But I'm so worn out that I just had to take a break and write to you all!

Thanks to all of you who remembered me on my birthday!  Wow did I feel majorly special.  I even got the birthday song sang to me on voicemail from my dear, sweet friend Bonnie in Canada.  Others sent cards and emails and I can't tell you how much it meant.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart. . .

We successfully closed on both houses Tuesday.  It was touch and go on our new house for the last 3 days, and we didn't think we were going to be able to close on time.  But a guardian angel named Russ, posing as a loan officer, worked some miracles and saved the day.  I don't know what we would have done with out him and all the work he did to make this happen.

Tomorrow my sister and I will move the small furniture and boxes.  Then the "big move" will happen on Thursday.  We will be done as of Thursday night with the moving process, but then comes the unpacking phase!  LOL  But I'm really looking forward to that.  That is when the house really becomes "ours".

OK, I won't bore you any longer with all of this, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate everyone checking up on me and making sure I'm OK.  More after the move!

Love you all!

Curt

I brought all of my stamps from the storage unit as I'm back on the Technique Junkie Newsletter DT. I now feel home and back to joining life again. I'm even dating. Best of luck to you. Keep us updated with some pics.

Congratulations...it's a lot of work of course, but in the end it's so worth it. I live with my dd and sil and they just bought a new house...their 2nd. Although I'll be getting two lovely rooms w/bathrm., for myself, I'm not looking forward to the getting ready part. I wish I could wave a magic wand and, well, you know the rest. Here's looking forward to the finalizing and enjoying your new space. Hope the pups like it too.

Okay, best placed plans went aray beaming in another direction...my birthday is earlier in June than yours. My memory marker moved to a rush of emotion not yet completed as nursing home threats for my dad because his present wife's three daughters want their mom in a nursing home since she is falling so frequently. Well, I did let your date float on by. so, in the days when you rest for fifteen minutes, wing an email to me with your date...after 06-06....and in the recent past! Two days ago, an area friend took me to the Athenian Greek Cafe for sponikopita and gyros...a wee baklava..totally misspelled yet the best I have sampled in all of Montana. A month to the day belated with all the fire, her family purchasing a ranch parcel needing painting and finishing in a home, garage, shop, work in progress, plus her MIL passed from this earth at a time only three of the seven of their Montana family able to fly to the East Coast for fam time there and ceremonies. Well, the wait was good. The visit was grand. The food was so tasty. Air conditioning was working. I found a Mike's quill page I had purchased earlier in spring and now needed for an ATC swap but mislaid when a speedy trip to Bozeman was in the wind and rush of transitioning. So thrilled to be able to get at that project to frame a quote (famous, of course)this evening after a USPS box to DH's ninety-three year spry aunt is sealed. Now, you may drop/ delete this email visit after you send a reminder to me of your birthdate. Close doesn't win the prize in friend to friend card of celebration timeliness. Well, how about a new to you home and birthday celebration all at once??!! Fires here are nearly all contained. Seventy-three homes and a hundred fifty some outbuildings plus numerous sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys-domestic and wild, dogs, cats, weasel, cattle, donkey, mules, horses, and birds of varying types were lost. Thankfully in total miracle strength, not one human life was lost amid flash fast moving fire rages. Some people backed up to farm/ ranch barbed wire fences, clipped the wires, loaded crowding animals into horsetrailers and drove north fifty miles to a ranch giving use of pasture land to fire ravaged animal owners. Our local law enforcement is trying to match animal owners with animals and a safe place to house critters until families locate housing and material life after finding cinders and ash all that remained of their country home/ s. Hey this addy showed up on 60 Minutes to check on a virus on computers hidden to use 'yur' computer to call and click on sites not desired but giving an Estonian set of six guys money for each site click. dcwg.org share this seach and diagnose site to get the virus out of existance. Curt, inside out of the sun for a few. Stopping by to say a big toasty hello your way. Lots of liquids and all those vitamins from juice to give your skin a boost. . . your mom ever give you that one?! Well, it works for my dad today. His ALZ is working overtime so a skin surgery was turned into a grand occasion for more juice to hydrate: not end up in ER again for the seventh month = thankful fam. Here's to another boxing day Canadian style, er.... unboxing day with some dismantled boxes to the recycle bin! One day we'll hear all about the trips to unload and sort to fresh locations before pics and doggie orientation are totally in place.
Keep Looking UP!

Here it is almost a month later totally surrounded by Olympic fanfare via tv viewing. Great time of education during this majorily heated season of intensity while out of direct sun boosts the value of tv. No UV rays and lots of liquid intake augment good reason to view and cheer. Montanan student doing very well! Exciting!
