Curt's Best Shots Slideshow

Hey All!

Gosh I've missed you guys and blogging, and creating, and. . .well, I can tell you I haven't missed painting! LOL  Just wanted to let you know the deed is just about done.  The house went on the market today.  I'm still "finishing up" on things around here and then it is just a matter of it being shown.  If you are interested, here is the LISTING.

I have kind of mixed emotions.  I will miss this house a lot, but the house we have our eyes on is still available and that makes this a little bit easier to take.  I'll keep you all posted.

Again, thanks so much for all of your encouragement and wonderful supportive comments.  This has been a ton of anxiety for me, but your thoughtful, caring comments have really made a difference.

I love you guys, and can't wait for things to settle down and get back to "normal".  I'm going to try and sit down this week and visit you all to see what you have been up to.  I hope you are all well!

Hugs,

Curt

One door closes .... another one opens. At least that is the way I think you should look at this. I know it will be hard as you have such wonderful neighbors there, but you will keep those as friends and meet some new ones! The boys look very springy in their pix and I'm sure they will do just fine too. Hang in there, I know this is hard for you but we're all out here sending good thoughts your way. All the best to Jay and hug those darling boys from me too! ~chris

So good to 'hear' your voice! Your home is so beautiful - I'm sure it will sell quickly if people will just come see it. How funny. I think every card I've ever mailed you has gone to CerroWar, not Mar. Silly me. Glad to hear that the painting is behind you. Sending prayers up that the house sells right away, and that you can get back to normal in your new home very soon! Hugs and blessings my friend.

Wow...that is one beautiful home, I can understand why you have mixed feelings about leaving it....but if your goal is to sell it, then that is my wish for you...I have been at this house for 17 years....its an old home, and the one we sold to move here was my dream home, we would come and look at this home, want it, go home, and change our minds, but after a year we made the move, and it was the best one...so I an sure your new home will give you much pleasure...thoughts are with you..let us know!!!

Hi Curt, glad the bulk of the work is done and that you can get down to the brass tacks of selling. I know this is so a hard thing for you can hear it in your writing, but that you are taking the bull by the horns is a good thing. Sometimes the change we fight so much turns out to be the best thing for us. Hope the house sells quickly and you get the house you want! Thinking of you both and keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Hugs
Sue

Wow that is one beautiful home! I can see why you are having a hard time leaving. I love that your craft room is not all packed up. We are going to down size in two year and I have so much stuff not just craft stuff. and I really need to get rid of stuff but I love all my stuff. You did an amazing job. I have my fingers crossed but I am sure someone will snap that beautiful house up quick. If not got a St. Joseph and put him in your garden. A very small one works.
Hugs,
Linda

Oh, Curt!!! I'm so sorry about Jay and all you're enduring! And I just hate you have to leave your beautiful "home" but God will see you make another happy and beautiful home. I, myself, am a caregiver to my aunt right now and I know that's not an easy job! And I most certainly understand the financial burdens hardships can bring. But I know God is good and he'll be right there beside you!

I've been away from blogging and crafting myself for a while but I knew I was sending out prayers for a good reason! I'm so glad I got here, and if there's anything at all I can do for you, please don't hesitate to let me know. I may not have a lot but I always have a bit of something to share!

I'll be back as soon as I can to check on you my dear friend!

Hugs to you and Jay!

Oh,dear Curt! I am happy to hear that things are moving along. My very wise father once told me (when we told him our daughter is transgender) that sometimes we have to accept things that we would not choose, and that they turn out alright. It is my experience that those very trials bring about some of the most wonderful surprises and blessings that life has to offer. So here's to the surprises and blessings that come from that which we would not choose. Hugs, Sue from KS

I wish you all the best of luck with your house sale and purchase Curt. It is stressfull without a doubt but it will be worth it in the end.

We've just sold our house and are on the verge on exchanging which for me is the most stressfull part as everything could fall to pieces at this point! Fingers crossed it won't though and we'll be off to our new home soon.

Lots of hugs and best wishes to you.
